“Get Low” is a 2014 single by American electronic music producer Dillon Francis and French DJ and producer DJ Snake. The song was released on digital download as the first single of Dillon Francis’ debut album, Money Sucks, Friends Rule. The official video was released on the official Dillon Francis YouTube channel on May 22, 2014.
In 2013, after Francis confirmed that his debut album will be released the next year, Francis announced a new song with collaboration of DJ Snake. On February 11, Francis has already launched his new song named “Get Low”, in which he confirmed that the song is the lead single of Francis debut album. On April 22, he confirmed that the title of his debut album is “Money Sucks, Friends Rule”. On 22 March, Francis released the official video of the song.
Later on 2 June 2014, Francis released an EP in which features 5 remixes of the song: “The Rebirth In Paris” version and remixes by W&W, TrollPhace, Aazar and Neo Fresco. On 7 April 2015, Dillon Francis released the remix of the song, featuring hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd.
The entire song consists of the following lyrics, “Get low when the whistle go”, while interspersed with some exclamations like “Barbes, yalla habibi” (an Arabic phrase translating to “Let’s go, my love”), tongue rolling and feminine yelling. The song is an available track on the rhythm game Just Dance 2015 and is featured in the film Furious 7 and its affiliated video game, Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious, which is a standalone expansion of the open-world racing video game Forza Horizon 2. The official remix features additional vocals by Rae Sremmurd.
The song features Berbère style folk music of North African origin, including a sample mix of Algerian folk band Orchestre National de Barbes.

He shares some of his memories of his struggles from the streets, to deaths, to juvenile centers, to encounters with his mother. Lil Baby, a well known rapper from Atlanta shares his memories, mainly about how his ex girlfriend cheated and how it hurt him, street shootings, and when the judge sentenced him to jail. He goes through all this by somewhat apologizing to his mother for all the pain he put her through, even though he still is consistently getting money by any means necessary, and still is how he was and never changed.
In an interview with DJ Vlad, Quando revealed that he wrote “I Remember” while he was in county jail serving time for a gun charge. Once he was released, he posted a viral video of him freestyling “I Remember,” while beating on the hood of a car. Several months later, he recorded the song featuring a Lil Baby verse that would become his breakout single.

“Dame Tu Cosita” ([ˈda.me tu ko.ˈsi.ta], lit. “Give me your little thing”[1] or “give me your thingy” is a song by Panamanian artist El Chombo, featuring Jamaican dancehall musician Cutty Ranks. It was originally recorded in 1997, but extended and released as a single in 2018. A remix with Pitbull and Karol G was released on August 29, 2018.
The song was first released on El Chombo’s album Cuentos de la Cripta II (1997) as a short version under the title “Introduccion B (El Cosita Mix)”. A remix of the song titled “Cosita Mix (New Mix)” was released in 2001 on the album Cuentos de la Cripta Remixes, in which the 2018 version is based on.
Following the song’s viral Internet popularity, French record label Juston Records signed El Chombo and commissioned an extended version of the track. The label also acquired the rights to ArtNoux’s video and requested a new video for the extended track.
Ultra Music acquired the worldwide distribution rights to the new, extended song and music video. In April 2018, the music video was uploaded to Ultra’s YouTube channel, and its popularity skyrocketed. The track was released as a single soon after, which debuted at No. 81 on the Billboard Hot 100, eventually reaching a peak of No. 36.
A remix featuring Pitbull and Karol G was released on August 24, 2018, and was produced by El Chombo and Afro Bros. The remix charted at No. 1 on the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart, which serves as an extension to the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It also reached No. 31 on the Billboard Argentina Hot 100.
The video shows an extended animation of the alien video to the full remix of “Dame Tu Cosita”, animated by ArtNoux and directed by Sihem OUILLANI. The video was the seventh most-viewed music video on YouTube worldwide in 2018. As of April 2022, the YouTube video has received over 3.9 billion views, making it the site’s 13th most-viewed video. The music video of the remix with Pitbull and Karol G was also directed by Sihem OUILLANI and was shot in Florida.

“Perfect” is a song by English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran from his third studio album, ÷ (2017).[1] After the album’s release, it charted at number four on the UK Singles Chart. On 21 August 2017, Billboard announced that “Perfect” would be the fourth single from the album. The song was serviced to pop radio on 26 September 2017 as the third single from the album in the United States (fourth overall). Originally peaking at number four in March 2017, the song re-entered the UK charts later that year. It eventually reached number one on the UK Singles Chart and the US Billboard Hot 100 in December 2017. “Perfect” became the UK Christmas number-one song for 2017 and also peaked at number one in sixteen other countries, including Australia, Canada, Ireland, and New Zealand.
The second version of the single, titled “Perfect Duet”, with American singer Beyoncé, was released on 1 December 2017. Another duet with Italian singer Andrea Bocelli, titled “Perfect Symphony”, was released on 15 December 2017. The song and its official music video received three nominations at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards.
The song is a romantic ballad focusing on traditional marriage, written about his wife-to-be Cherry Seaborn, whom he knew from school and then reconnected with when she was working in New York. Sheeran revealed that the inspiration for the lyrics came after visiting James Blunt’s house in Ibiza, where the two singers had listened to the rapper Future’s music at six in the morning. He said: “Barefoot on the grass, listening to our favorite song, which happened to be Future’s “March Madness”… I booked the studio for the day, and I had that and I was like, right, let me just flesh that out. And the song happened and was sort of finished that day. I knew it was special.
Sheeran produced the song himself with help from Will Hicks. It was recorded with strings orchestration from his brother Matthew Sheeran. This is the first time the brothers had collaborated on a song as it was the final wish of their grandmother to see the brothers working together before she died. The full string orchestration was later used for the recording with Andrea Bocelli. Another version with slightly different lyrics featuring Camila Cabello and Nicholas Galitzine is included in the Cinderella (2021 soundtrack).
The song is written in the key of A♭ major (G major in live performances) with a tempo of 63.5 beats per minute in 12 8 time (if not using triplets) or 4 4 time (if using triplets). “Perfect” moves at a chord progression of A♭5–Fm7–D♭sus2–E♭. The vocals span from E♭3 to A♭4 in the song.

“Woo” is the only track with a credited feature from Rihanna’s previously rumored-boyfriend Travis Scott. Abel Tesfaye (The Weeknd) is credited as one of the track’s composers/lyricists. His demo of the song was leaked online on June 7, 2018.
Like other songs on ANTi, “Woo” is a breakup track. In the first verse, Rihanna expresses contempt towards her ex and his new flame. She exudes her trademark confidence with lines like, “Bet she could never make you cry/Cause the scars on your heart are still mine.”
As the track progresses, Rihanna’s vulnerability comes to the surface, until she finally admits, “I don’t really mean to love ya / I don’t really mean to care about ya, no more.”
Anti (stylised in all caps) is the eighth studio album by Barbadian singer Rihanna. She started recording in 2014 after ending her contract with Def Jam Recordings, who had released all of her albums since her debut in 2005. As executive producer, Rihanna recorded Anti with producers including Jeff Bhasker, Boi-1da, DJ Mustard, Hit-Boy, Brian Kennedy, Timbaland and No I.D., at studios in Canada, the United States and France. SZA and Drake contribute guest vocals.
Conceived when Rihanna was experiencing creative struggles and emotional turmoil, Anti features an atmospheric production characterised by lo-fi beats, distorted vocals and downtempo arrangements. The first half consists of bass-heavy tracks, and the second is characterised by textured minimalism. Compared to the radio-friendly dance tunes of her previous albums, Anti is more muted and soulful. Its songs explore eclectic styles spanning pop, dancehall, alternative R&B, hip hop, soul, psychedelic, doo-wop and trap. Their lyrics are about the emotions ensued from love and relationships, from endearment and desire to betrayal and liberation, with references to sex, drugs and alcohol.
The promotional campaign for Anti from summer 2014 comprised prolonged release delays and a $25 million deal with Samsung. Rihanna announced the cover art and title at the MAMA Gallery on 7 October 2015, and Anti was released on 28 January 2016, through Roc Nation and Westbury Road. The Anti World Tour ran from March to November 2016, and four songs were released as singles, including the US Billboard Hot 100 number one “Work”. In the United States, Anti is Rihanna’s second number-one album and the first album by a black woman to spend 300 weeks on the Billboard 200. The album topped charts in Canada and Norway, and peaked in the top five on charts in such European countries as Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
In contemporary publications, critics commended the album’s emotional honesty but were divided on the production, praise centering on Rihanna’s newfound musical freedom and criticism on the unfocused track list. Some took issue with the lack of radio-friendly songs, but others noted the musical shift marked Rihanna’s artistic maturity as an album artist beyond her status as a pop star. At the 2017 Grammy Awards, the album and its singles received six nominations, including one for Best Urban Contemporary Album. Anti featured on 2010s decade-end lists by such publications as Billboard, NME and Pitchfork. It ranked 230th on Rolling Stone’s 2020 edition of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
Barbadian singer Rihanna’s seventh studio album, Unapologetic, was released on 19 November 2012, by Def Jam Recordings. Unapologetic combines urban and R&B with radio-friendly pop tunes and dubstep influences, and its lyrics are about Rihanna’s sexual autonomy and emotional struggles. Critics likened the sound and themes of Unapologetic’s to those of her previous albums, namely Rated R (2008), Loud (2010) and Talk that Talk (2011). She embarked on the Diamonds World Tour to promote the album in 2013, and co-headlined the Monster Tour with American rapper Eminem in 2014. After touring, Rihanna intended to take a year off to “just do whatever [she wanted] artistically, creatively”, but reportedly started recording new music as soon as October 2014.
Unapologetic was Rihanna’s last album under Def Jam, who had released all of her discography since her first album, Music of the Sun (2005). In March 2014, she signed with American rapper Jay-Z’s Roc Nation after leaving Def Jam and gaining the right to her album masters; Jay-Z was her mentor when she first moved from Barbados to the United States. Up to that point, Rihanna had released one studio album each year from 2005 to 2012 (with the exception of 2008), totalling seven.
