“Fight Night” is a song by American hip hop group Migos. It was released on April 8, 2014 by Quality Control and 300 Entertainment as the first single from their mixtape No Label 2 (2014) and was produced by Stack Boy Twan. It peaked at number 69 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, making it the group’s highest-charting single at the time. A remix was made by fellow American rapper Tyga.

Brian Josephs of HotNewHipHop said that the song represents Migos’ delivery of high-energy Atlanta rap, saying that “This isn’t a throwaway track, but a confidently sold Bay Area Hyphy scene send-off.

Pitchfork ranked the song at number 56 on its list of the 100 Best Tracks of 2014. Pitchfork staff writer David Drake said “In its misunderstanding of a pre-existing template, it reached more directly for the pop jugular. Each line was quotable, delivered with the unapologetic confidence of a group willing to say whatever they can get away with. While perhaps not always the best bedroom strategy, ‘Fight Night’ does hit on the mania of lust more directly than anyone else.

The song peaked at number 69 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart in September 2014, making it their highest-charting single; until “Bad and Boujee”, featuring Lil Uzi Vert would reach number one on the chart in early 2017.

The music video for “Fight Night” was released on June 9th, 2014. Young Thug makes a cameo appearance in the video.

“Wet Dreamz” is a song by American rapper J. Cole, released on April 14, 2015 as the second single from his third studio album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive. The song samples “Mariya” by Family Circle and “Impeach the President” by The Honey Drippers, and was produced by J. Cole.[1] As of 2021, the single has officially been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

On the third single from Forest Hills Drive, Cole reminisces about his first time with a girl. He puts on the typical play-it-cool attitude when in reality all he knows about are wet dreams. This song was originally going to appear on Cole’s debut album, Cole World: The Sideline Story but missed the cut.

The song caused a stir amongst fans as it contradicts Cole’s earlier comments on losing his virginity from “Too Deep For The Intro”. Was it with a virgin or a slutty bitch?

Cole’s manager Ibrahim Hamad would later reveal that “Wet Dreamz” is a fictional story and that he doesn’t know who Cole’s first smash was.

The music video was released on April 21st 2015 and plays on the idea of puppy love literally. Ryan Staake directs a German shepherd playing Cole and a King Charles Spaniel playing his crush on their first time. On the visuals, Ryan said:

On April 21, 2015, the accompanying video for “Wet Dreamz” was released on Cole’s Vevo channel. It uses a pair of dogs to humorously represent the lyrics of the song, with the ending revealing they both belong to presumably J. Cole and the girl he wants to have sex with.

“Errrbody” is a single by American rapper Yo Gotti, released on July 10, 2014, by Epic Records. The song is about Gotti talking about mainstream rappers being similar to one another, and pretending to be who they aren’t despite their status. “Errrbody” peaked at numbers 29 and 98 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot 100 charts respectively. It was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), denoting sales of over 500,000 units in the United States. An accompanying music video for the single, directed by Benny Boom, follows a group of suburban kids getting involved with street life and finding it not for them the hard way.

The song was produced by Nonstop Da Hitman, featuring “icy synth and tightrope tense hi-hats”. It sees Yo Gotti rapping about how rappers in the music industry are acting similarly and pretending to be what they are not, whether it be being rich, “from the hood”, or a drug dealer.
